Returns Policy – KK’s Chicks & Blooms

At KK’s Chicks & Blooms, we take great pride in providing healthy, well-cared-for chickens and quality products. Due to the nature of our business, our returns policy differs slightly for live animals and other items.


🐔 Live Chickens (Special Conditions)

Because chickens are living animals, we offer a limited return window for their wellbeing and yours.

  • Chickens may be returned within 3 days of collection or delivery if there are concerns regarding ill health.

  • While we pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy flock, we understand that issues can occasionally arise.

If a chicken becomes unwell within this period:

  • It may be returned to KK’s Chicks & Blooms for assessment and care

  • Once recovered, the bird can be:

    • Returned to you, or

    • Exchanged for another chicken, or

    • Refunded (approved on a case-by-case basis)

All chicken return requests must be made promptly via email at admin@kkchicksbloom.com.au.


📦 General Returns (Non-Live Products)

We offer a 30-day return policy for non-living items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible:

  • Items must be in the same condition as received

  • Unused, unworn, with tags, and in original packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required

Returns must be approved before being sent. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions on how and where to send your item.

Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.


⚠️ Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if:

  • Your item is defective

  • Your item is damaged

  • You received the wrong product

We will assess the issue and work to resolve it as quickly as possible.


🚫 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. flowers, plants, feed)

  • Custom or personalised products

  • Personal care goods

  • Hazardous materials or flammable items

  • Sale items or gift cards

Please contact us if you are unsure about a specific item.


🔄 Exchanges

For non-living items, the fastest way to exchange is to:

  1. Request a return

  2. Once approved, place a new order

For chickens, exchanges are handled under the 3-day health guarantee policy above.



💳 Refunds

We will notify you once your return has been received and inspected.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank
